It has been a while since I last posted here hasn't it?
While since it is late I'll be quick.
Got a new car. Honda Civic.
Been collecting Graphic Novels of Gold Digger, Oh my Goddess, and I'm up to #10 of Love Hina. I've also been reading a crapload of manga as well. I started reading Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Dears, Chobits, and Naruto among many other series.
New computer, yey!
More later,

Saavik: Permission to speak freely, sir? Kirk: Granted. Saavik: I do not believe this was a fair test of my command abilities. Kirk: And why not? Saavik: Because... there was no way to win. Kirk: A no-win situation is a possibility every commander may face. Has that never occurred to you? Saavik: No sir, it has not. Kirk: How we deal with death is at least as important as how we deal with life, wouldn't you say? Saavik: As I indicated, Admiral, that thought had not occurred to me. Kirk: Well, now you have something new to think about. Carry on. -Saavik & Kirk, ST:The Wrath of Khan

-Hi folks,
* Still alive.
* Car coolant trouble hopefully fixed. Got into a minor (stressing the 'minor' bit here) car accident 2 weeks ago. Even though it wasn't a fun experience you almost can't tell where the car hit the roadside.
* Getting ready for the Weapon X facility on X-men Legends. (Not X-men Unlimited as first thought) Logan is my fav. character although Prof X, Beast and Nightcrawler get bonus points. :)
* Introduced one friend to the road to the Dark Tower. I'm still on book 3. :/
* Enjoyed the grand opening at Geeks & Gamers .
* Got back rest of the results from my physical, I'm okay. (Just gotta lay off the french fries...)
* Started watching SG1, SGA and GA friday nights once again.
* My SW character (a Fringer) turned lv. 3
anddddd....
* Sunday WWE pay per view wrestling nights were canceled. Via Tuesday trivia night.

-Hi all,
Christmas & New Years was a blast. Picked up X-men Unlimited for the PS2, as well as a PS2!
Don't really have a new years resolutions just things to keep in mind.
1.) For the past couple of days I've been giving a low fat diet a try (after visiting the doctor for a physical). The Doc says I'm good except my Cholesterol is a bit high. But if I start eating right (less fried food, & red meat) the level should drop like a stone. The fact that I've been exercising at least 2-3 times a week for over a month isn't hurting either.
2.) I've been limiting my game play & on-line time with some success. Moving the computer out of my room has helped, I can actually do work on my desk although I end up needing to clear it after a long week.
3.) Keep reading and don't stop. I've recently finished "Thief of Time" by Terry Pratchett which was a nice tale of man/woman's effect on the personifications of incarnations, getting to see more of the Death of Rats, discovering Terry is a 'Stones' fan, and just what would happen if someone built the ultimate clock?

-To all my friends out there:
Drive safe & have a Merry Christmas (Happy Holidays)!
And prayers/sympathes/offerings/positive feelings/sacrificial kentucky fried chicken (if it will help) go out to those who need them in this time of year.
If you haven't checked out The Minibosses newest CD it is pretty nifty. The Minibosses are a band that plays the music from the old days of Nintendo. They play themes from Castlevania (1, 2, 3), Ninja Gaiden, Mega Man 2, Metroid, Mike Tyson's Punch Out and others not coming to mind. The music is pretty fun and it has got a good beat.
And I notice Enya has a new CD out, and the video for one of the new songs looks looks on par with her previous works. :)
Peace and long life,

Day 6+ of being sick:
Taking antibiotics and I'm at the cough n' hack stage where occasionally I sound I'm going to cough up a lung. But believe it or not I'm sounding and feeling better.
Spent this Thanksgiving at home with my sis & her loved one. Katie & Noay (?) made a fantastic feast.
Me & Katie introduced Noay to Red Dwarf thursday night by showing off a few episodes the family had tapped off of channel 11 over the years like Camile, Justice, Balence of Power, Mindswap, Marooned, and Terrorform to name a few.
Hang in there amythestcat, and I hope you feel better!
That's it from me,

-Watched a little Firefly this evening. (*sobs*) Book! Wash! Waaaaa!
-Spending thanksgiving with sis & her SO during my viral flu time.
-Went to the doctors found out that I have a virual infection with the possibility of sinus trouble. If my symptoms don't improve by Friday then I get the antibiotics.
-(sigh) Doctors know that if you really get sick/have bad cuts/etc. to throw antibiotics at it. But the problem with that it is that you start getting diseases that are resistant to antibiotics that are currently used. Don't get me wrong though, if I'm in a situation where my life is on the line (and I'd have a reasonable chance to live a healthy life afterward) then I'd take the stuff. Fortunately doctors & researchers are working on developing new antibiotics all the time. So in the end it's an arms race between the diseases & us. Personally, I'm rooting for us.
-So in the meantime I get to shoot salty water up my nose, use one of the standard nasal sprays up my nose, and I take the red pill. Er... I mean sudafed. ;)

The result is a little surprising considering I still hold ST:TNG to be my favorite sci-fi series with Farscape & Doctor Who at a close second. Star Wars has slipped in rank since episode II & III came out. B5, Firefly, The X-Files, SG1, DS9, and ST:TOS round out my top ten.

It also feels like my nose is getting stuffed up once again so the dreaded flu bug may have returned. (*bleck*)

Mystic Theurge 29% Combativeness, 33% Sneakiness, 79% Intellect, 69% Spirituality | Brilliant and spiritual! You are a Mystic Theurge!
Score! You have a prestige class. A prestige class can only be taken after youve fulfilled certain requirements. This may mean that youre an exceptionally talented person, but it probably doesn't.
The Mystic Theurge is a combination of a cleric and a mage. They can cast both arcane and divine spells, and are good at both, making them pretty terrifying on the battlefield. They have more raw spellpower than just about any other class.
You're both intelligent and faithful, but not violent or deceitful. I guess that makes you a pretty good person. | |

"Nintendo Power" - Mike Murphy |

-The Nashua Pride game was a good one with the Pride hanging on to victory 12 to 10 . Kevin McGlinchy was the winning pitcher for the Pride. It was nice to see Kevin pitch once again. I saw him pitch on a few occasions with the Atlanta Braves on TBS. (Back in the day when I was obsessed with following the Atlanta Braves) Also noticed amongst the players was Darren Bragg a one time Red Sox outfielder and he played pretty well. -After the Pride game there was a old style baseball game (as in 1880's baseball) played. There were some neat rules differences between it and current baseball rules.
Here is a list of odd rules that I can recall:
- 7 balls = walk (the number of strikes is the same) - Only one Ump who calls the game, don't even think about getting into an arguement with him or you're out of the game! - You refer to the Umpire as 'sir'. - The pitcher can 'quick pitch' if he likes. (As in quickly throw the ball across the plate before the hitter is at the plate) - Foul balls aren't strikes and if a fielder catches a foul ball after it bounces once the hitter is out. - If you're hit by pitch you don't get to automatically go to first. - The hitter can request where the strike zone is when he first comes to the plate. - The Catcher doesn't have any special equipment.
There is a link to the league somewhere but I'm too pooped at the moment to look for it and I got work tomorrow. :p
Peace and long life,

-(points to subject) The words of advice my doctor gave me after I consulted with him about the tick bite. He said not to worry, and I won't. I fell folly to the fear the media gives about the little beasts. Not that the fear isn't without reason. The smaller ones contain a deadly disease. But if you know what to look for then you're fine. I was told that you could remove a tick via grabbing it with tweezers and pulling back slowly. The tick is left with a choice: a.) lose head. or b.) retract itself. Given that choice I'd imagine ticks would choose b.
